Please don’t give up on me – this is what one of my clients said to me yesterday.
She has decided to change her choice of area and her priorities in what is important for her first home.
She thought that by doing this after researching and initially deciding on other areas and even making offers, her decision to pivot would mean that I may give up on her.
Firstly I don’t give up on anyone, because that means giving up on their dreams which is just a no no!
I had to reassure her that purchasing a home is not a straightforward journey and change at various stages is also part of the journey.
The reality is that this can happen at any stage and that’s OK because it may be that going through researching, viewings that you start to realise what is important to you or offers are declined.
So although it may feel like you are back at square 1 starting to research all over again and get to know an area, actually take it as a experience.
The experience has helped you to outline what is actually a priority and what you are willing to compromise on and therefore taking another step to move closer to your dream.
